Orest V. Pelechaty, C.A., President, ALOHA, Inc. Orest received his degree of Oriental Medical Doctor in 1986 from the California Acupuncture College subsequent to his 1985 Masters Degree from Tri-State College of Acupuncture. He holds a B.A. in Psychology from Rutgers University and is nationally certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
He founded the ALOHA Clinic in 1988. Orest retired from Clinic Directorship in 2003 in order to pursue individual private practice, teaching, and consulting to health professionals.
He has served on the board of the American Association of Oriental Medicine (AAOM) and was chairman of both the Herbal Medicine and the Qi Gong Therapeutics Committees. He has completed post-doctoral studies in Korea. He has recently founded a holistic clinic in a Tibetan Buddhist Monastery in Tso Pema, India.
Orest has been a guest lecturer at local universities as well as on radio and television. He has taught at St. Barnabas Hospital, UMDNJ, the Eastern School of Acupuncture, and the American Herbalist Guild.
Sue Pelechaty, Vice President, ALOHA, Inc. Sue has a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and post-graduate studies in Pre-Med from Fairleigh Dickenson University. She worked as an Environmental and Senior Project Engineer for Exxon.
Due to a debilitating case of chronic fatigue syndrome, Sue became an avid student of natural healing and regained her health. In 1988, she co-founded Holistic Alliance International, a non-profit organization that publishes the Conscious Living Journal and has sponsored numerous health fairs in NJ.
Sue co-directed the ALOHA Clinic. For 15 years, she was the Patient Liaison and Administrative Director for a team of clinicians performing Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Homeopathy, Holistic Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, Clinical Nutrition, Polarity Therapy, Electro-dermal Screening, and Live Blood Analysis.
Sue recently founded the Aloha Spirit Fund, a charitable fund dedicated to providing holistic healthcare for the needy.
In addition, Sue has recently founded the Power Girls Wellness Program, a dynamic self-care and empowerment program designed for women to create health, happiness, and prosperity in their lives. |
